Bespoke Solutions

Customised Material Handling and Preparation

Regardless of the nature of your bioresource, we will work together to develop the correct solution.

With experience is design bespoke machinery attached, dryers, condensers and heat exchangers to ensure we achieve optimum performance and energy yield.

State of the Art Combustion

Our unique burner allows ultra low emissions, even from the most challenging feedstocks.

Having completed two government contracts with DEFRA, under the Clean Air Strategy. We have the upmost focus not only on combustion emissions be all emissions associated with each feedstock and the reduction and treatment of such.

Delivering the system the market really needs

We are buyers turned suppliers.

In the absence of the solution we, and as it turn out the market required, we set about developing the type of pyrolysis solution the world really needs.

A solution that can handle, utilize and realise the value from the abundant, low value, less ideal resources.

In doing so, delivery a solution that is unparalleled it is commercial viability.

Our Technology

Material Conditioning Experts

Our strength comes from our in-house material experts. Who come with a wealth of knowledge in regards to material handling, processing and conditioning.

One of the key challenges with low grade, high moisture and less than favourable consistency materials is the handling and 'upgrading' of these materials to 'fuel grade'.

This is where Forged Innovation excel!

Our Patent Pending technology gives us the unique ability to utilize the vast array of abundant bioresources widely available.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@forgedinnovation.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Biochar is a carbon-rich material produced by heating organic biomass (e.g., wood, crop residues) in a low-oxygen environment — a process called pyrolysis.

Biochar improves soil fertility, water retention, microbial activity, and carbon sequestration. It can also help reduce fertilizer use

  • Feedstock affects biochar quality and economics

  • Common materials include wood chips, manure, crop residues, and sewage sludge. Each results in different properties of the biochar and different financial outcomes

  • Temperature influences surface area, porosity, pH, and nutrient content.

  • Low-temperature pyrolysis (300–500°C) retains more volatile matter, while high-temperature pyrolysis (500–700°C) increases surface area and stability.

Biochar is a carbon-negative technology, especially if produced from waste biomass.

Unlike most other means of energy generation not only is carbon not release during energy conversion/production. It is actually thermally stabilized.

Meaning it is no longer free/able to be released into the atmosphere and the carbon cycle. But rather is removed from the carbon cycle.
